Here is a summary of the 2022 Christmas advertising & branding campaigns:
The holiday season has arrived as businesses debut their Christmas advertisements sooner than before. However, this year’s celebrations will be notably different for many people due to the uncertain global economy. Brand advertising must reflect the forthcoming frugal holiday season, if they don’t want to appear too out of date.
Here are all the top clips from big brands so far 🎄
Waitrose: It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
In its yearly Christmas promotion, Waitrose is honoring its business associates and suppliers. The 60-second ad, produced by Adam & Eve/DDB, demonstrates the care and dedication that go into the goods sold at the store all year long.
The film emphasizes the difficult beekeeping task, the freezing circumstances farmers work in throughout the winter, and even the meticulous crop-picking process.
Heathrow: The Gift
This endearing tale, which centers on a couple who will be spending Christmas away from their adult children, explores what it’s like to spend the holiday season with loved ones.
Since winning the brand pitch in August, this is the first project that St. Luke’s has worked on as the main strategic creative agency.
Asda: Have your Elf a Merry Christmas
M&S Food: Fairy and Duckie
In this heartwarming M&S Food advertisement, Dawn French reprised her role as the Holiday Fairy, this time with Jennifer Saunders as a comedy sidekick.
We see Fairy searching for a new buddy to share the holiday season with, as the animated commercial opens. She goes to the dog’s bed in the living room and discovers a cute chew toy that she miraculously brings to life after rejecting several poor choices.
Duckie, who is voiced by Saunders, appears a little worn out and needs some encouragement. Then, as if by magic, a spread of tempting M&S food is placed on the table, and the two start talking about all the delectable foods they will be consuming.
